John Itzat is a dual-media artist based in Los Angeles, CA, who blends traditional jewelry craftsmanship with digital fabrication to create wearable art inspired by the cultures of the Americas. Alongside his undergraduate studies in illustration, he trained in sculpture, woodwork, metalwork, CAD design and 3D printing. He is now pursuing a certificate in jewelry and metalsmithing.

In the Spring 2026, he curated and installed his first solo exhibition in Pasadena, Titans of Tamoanchan, a collection of adornments inspired by the deities of Mesoamerican mythology. He has worked as an exhibitions intern at Bermudez Projects, where he honed his skills in research, gallery maintenance, exhibition design, and collection management.
